Course and Activity Participation
Participants are required to attend every course session and/or activity during the UA ACTivate program. Attendance is mandatory unless the participant has a verified extenuating circumstance beyond their control. If a participant needs to miss a course or activity, they must obtain approval from the program manager.
Participants will be escorted to each course and/or activity by a peer coach or the camp counselor.
To gain the full scope of experience and ACT preparation, participants will always come to course sessions prepared and will demonstrate attentive and respectful conduct toward all camp counselors, peer coaches, and instructors. Please note that participants are participating in UA ACTivate as guests of The University of Alabama. Failure to attend and/or participate in the course sessions and activities may result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund of registration fee.
