Tide to Success

Online Course | Coming Fall 2026

Begin your college journey with confidence. Tide to Success is offered at no cost to in-state students, and is a self-paced, five to six-hour online ACT preparatory course designed to help you gain the strategies and content necessary to navigating the ACT test while also exploring college planning fundamentals — on your own schedule.

You’ll learn how to:

• Navigate the enhanced ACT with confidence
• Explore different majors to see which ones are the best fit
• Start planning next steps toward your collegiate future
• Discover the connection between ACT and scholarships
• Answer common questions such as, "Should I take the writing section of the ACT?"  

Tide to Success is for current high school students in grades 9-12. The course can be completed at the student’s own pace and must be completed within 30 days of the course opening. The e-book version of The Official ACT Prep Guide is included. Upon completion of the course, students will:

• Receive access to the course material for two years
• Earn a digital badge for a job well done

You’ll be equipped with the tools to start strong and make informed decisions, all before you set foot on campus! Tide to Success empowers you to confidently prepare for standardized tests, navigate college admissions and explore degree pathways aligned with your interests and future goals.

Registration for Tide to Success opens July 1, 2026. Two sessions will be held during the fall 2026 semester, and also during the spring 2027 semester. Out-of-state students must pay a fee of $200.
